A birthday resolution

One of my (many) birthday resolutions was about…birthdays!  I decided that this is the year I want to try and make sure I don’t miss my family and friends’ birthdays.  I’ve started a little collection of greeting cards, I bought an address book, and I sent out my first card yesterday (Happy Birthday Andrew!!)  I think it’s a nice way to ensure you show how much you appreciate your friends and family.

Cards can be expensive and (as I’m broke) I’ve been trying to pick them up when it’s cheaper to do so.  For example, Shaws had a deal recently that if you bought 3 Hallmark expression cards you’d instantly get $5 off your purchase, which makes the cards around 2 bucks a piece instead of 3.50 or so.  Also, Borders is going out of business, so I made a stop there and cleaned out their birthday card section.  And of course, there’s always homemade cards!

About BuzzwithLove

Buzzwithlove was something I had talked about with a good friend- how there are just some people in the world who just exude energy, happiness, and love. That's how I hope to live my life- and share little bits of it online!
