Green thumb part II

I posted recently about how I have a select group of plants I’ve been able to keep alive.  Here’s the run down on what they are:

This plant (which clearly has some dead leaves I need to remove- woops!)…I can’t figure out what it’s actual species name is, but here’s a link to it on home depot

The second plant is a spathiphyllum that my family gave me as a gift at my white coat ceremony.  I LOVE this plant because it wilts easily and comes back as soon as you water it- it’s my constant reminder of when it’s time to water them.  The picture in the last post didn’t come out great, so here’s one from the web:

And the third plant on my counter is an orchid from Trader Joes…it’s one of the 4 inch potted ones put into a bigger pot so it looked nicer.  They run about $8 bucks and they only last me 2-3 months, but I figure it’s a smaller price to pay than buying tulips (my favorite!) every week.

More on the plants in the dining room some other time.
